Over a decade and a half of teaching experience, supported by a Finnish Education Diploma and Harvard Certification, I’ve had the privilege of exploring the most innovative educational practices from around the world. We specialize in the Multi-modal Approach, a methodology that honors the diverse ways in which children learn and grow. Oakwood’s students have thrived in the Kidpreneur program, creating and selling products that have build a free school, provided school construction and supplies, tree planting, and the even building houses for those in need.
Bajo Sayang is our initiative to give back, supporting education in underserved areas by providing essential resources and infrastructure. We have supported more than 4000 students and will continue to do more.
Our students actively participate in community events, including beach cleanups and other initiatives that promote environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
Oakwood STEAM Academy is committed to sustainability, with ongoing projects that involve students in eco-friendly practices, such as recycling programs, energy conservation efforts,and we also have our own Farm to Table sustainable gardening.
An impressive 92% of our students are advanced learners, surpassing standardized levels and often progressing beyond their current grade level, with many smoothly transitioning to the next grade a year ahead of schedule.
Mangrove Tress Planting
Through our Kidpreneur program, students made and sold keychains, funding the planting of 1,000 mangrove trees in Desa Bedono, contributing to environmental conservation.
We have collaborated with more than 20 humanitarian organizations, where our students volunteer to help other children through activities, fostering a sense of community and compassion.
Our students’ artistic talents are celebrated through collaborations with art galleries, where their work is beautifully displayed and appreciated.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, our students launched the Bali Kenyang, "Nasi Bungkus" initiative, providing thousands of free meals to those in need—a tradition that continues today.
